About the Role
HireNow Staffing is partnering with an early-stage healthcare technology company that is transforming how family caregivers access digital health tools. As the organization scales its programs, it is seeking a highly detail-oriented Order Fulfillment Specialist to manage the end-to-end preparation and shipment of tablet devices used by caregivers across the country.
This role is mission critical . The accuracy, consistency, and care applied to each device directly impact patient and caregiver experiences. Success in this position requires someone who takes pride in precision, follows processes exactly, and understands that small errors can have meaningful downstream effects.
What You'll Be Responsible For
As the Order Fulfillment Specialist, you will own the full lifecycle of device fulfillment, including:
  • Preparing Samsung tablets for deployment using established, step-by-step fulfillment procedures
  • Installing, configuring, and validating software on tablets and SD cards prior to shipment
  • Loading approved applications, updates, and device configurations with strict adherence to quality standards
  • Preparing, labeling, and inserting SD cards to ensure proper device functionality
  • Conducting mandatory quality assurance checks to confirm devices are fully functional and ready for use
  • Troubleshooting basic device, software, or SD card issues and escalating unresolved problems appropriately
  • Accurately documenting configuration details, fulfillment status, and shipping activity in internal tracking systems
  • Packing and shipping devices via USPS and FedEx with accuracy and timeliness
  • Receiving, inspecting, and processing returned devices in accordance with security and data-handling protocols
  • Maintaining precise inventory records for devices, accessories, and supplies
  • Ordering and managing fulfillment supply as needed
  • Ensuring data security, device integrity, and compliance throughout the fulfillment process
  • Documenting process updates and proactively recommending workflow improvements
  • Collaborating closely with Enrollment and Caregiver Engagement teams to support timely caregiver onboarding
Qualifications & Experience
Required
  • Exceptional attention to detail — this is the single most important qualification
  • 5+ years of experience in a detail-driven, process-oriented role (e.g., hardware fulfillment, technical support, device retail, logistics, or similar environments)
  • Comfort configuring tablets or similar hardware, installing software, managing files, and following detailed QA checklists
  • Strong technical aptitude with smartphones, tablets, or handheld devices
  • Ability to follow defined processes consistently and accurately
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable, accountable, and committed to high-quality execution
Preferred (Strongly Valued)
  • Prior experience with device fulfillment, technical support, or hardware configuration
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory tracking
  • Background in healthcare, technology, or regulated environments
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process gaps and suggest operational improvements
Why This Role Matters
This is not a warehouse job and not a casual fulfillment role. It is a precision-based operational position supporting a healthcare mission where accuracy, security, and consistency are non-negotiable. The right candidate will be trusted with sensitive technology, will operate independently, and will play a direct role in ensuring caregivers receive tools that work perfectly from day one.
If you are someone who:
  • Thrives on structure and accuracy
  • Notices small details others overlook
  • Enjoys hands-on technical work
  • Takes ownership of outcomes
—this role offers stability, purpose, and the opportunity to make a real impact.
Interested candidates must meet the core responsibilities and demonstrate strong  attention to detail to be considered for interview
