Job Title: Hydro Excavation Operator

Employee Type: Full Time Non-Exempt

Reports to: Site Superintendent

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Location: Borger, TX (travel required)

Remediation Services, Inc. (RSI), uses a team approach to coordinate our resources. We are staffed with seasoned professionals, highly trained project managers, equipment operators and technicians. RSI's personnel are trained in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 and maintain their annual eight-hour updates. RSI mobilizes its own work force to provide remedial construction services. RSI based in Independence, KS, is a premier nationwide contractor supplying innovative, cost-effective solutions to complex environmental remediation challenge

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hydro Excavation Operator to join our team.

Duties/Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Adhere and follow safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles, and trailers
• Complete required paperwork, forms and records as required

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Drivers License and excellent driving history

Education and Experience

• Experience operating a Hydro Excavator
• Experience operating various types of heavy equipment including but not limited to dozers, excavators, loaders, water trucks and off-road haul trucks

• Environmental Remediation industry experience is a plus
• Travel may be required
• Valid Drivers License

Physical/Environment Requirements

• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearance, confined spaces and at heights.
• Travel required
